Public Report Links - External Submissions

Let anyone submit reports without an account - customers, visitors, contractors - while keeping everything in one unified system with full analytics.

The Difference

Public Links vs. Traditional Systems

Most platforms require everyone to have an account. We don't.

The Bottom Line

Public links mean you get one source of truth. Whether a report comes from your staff, a visitor, or an external contractor, it all lands in the same system with the same analytics. No more piecing together data from emails, paper forms, and separate tools.

Why Public Links Matter

No Account Required

Anyone with the link can submit a report. No sign-up, no credentials, no barriers. Perfect for customers, visitors, and one-time submissions.

One Unified Platform

Public and internal submissions live together. No fragmented emails, spreadsheets, or separate systems. Everything in one place.

Full Analytics & Export

View submissions in a preview table, filter by date or field values, and export to Excel. Track trends like noise complaints or maintenance requests over time.

Fully Customizable

Design the form exactly how you need it. Add any field type, set required fields, and control every aspect - all managed by your organization.

How to Set Up a Public Link

Create shareable links for any report in just a few clicks.

1

Go to Custom Reports

Navigate to Custom Reports in your admin menu and find the report you want to make public.

2

Open Public Links

Click the Public Links column for that report. You'll see options to create a new link or manage existing ones.

3

Create a New Link

Click Add Public Link. Give it a name (e.g., "Lobby Kiosk" or "Customer Feedback") so you can track where submissions come from.

4

Share the Link

Copy the generated URL and share it however you need - embed on your website, print as a QR code, or send directly to external parties.

5

View Submissions

All submissions appear in your regular submissions list. Filter by source, export to Excel, or view trends in the analytics dashboard.

Multiple Links Per Report

Create separate public links for different contexts - one for your website, one for the lobby kiosk, one for contractors. Each link tracks its source so you know where submissions originate.

Real-World Examples

How Organizations Use Public Links

Property Management

Broken dryer? Water leak? Fire hazard? Have tenants submit reports with photos, triggering instant email alerts to the right staff. See the problem before arriving - no more guessing from vague text descriptions.

Security & Patrol

Broken lock? Injury hazard? Suspicious package? Visitors can report incidents without needing to find a guard. Empower people to flag what matters. All submissions feed into the same system used for patrol logs by your guards, giving security one system to respond from.

Contractor Management

With a link or QR code, have contractors detail the work performed and attach photos. Have them sign for equipment. Or have them photograph their end-of-day lockup. Each case you'll get an instant documented record that won't get lost in emails or texts.

Customer Feedback

Collecting feedback? Share a link or QR code. Responses flow into your analytics dashboard - filter by date, export to Excel, or view individual submissions. Analyze trends over time without spreadsheet chaos.
