Paid parking is digital and pay-by-plate. There are no meters to feed, no tickets to display on your dash, and no app to download. Enter your licence plate and the lot code posted on the sign, pay for the time you need, and you're done — enforcement officers verify payment electronically by licence plate.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I pay for parking?

A

Three options:

  1. Scan the QR code on the parking sign.
  2. Visit www.fieldpad.app in any web browser.
  3. Call 123-456-7890 and leave a voicemail with the lot code, your licence plate, and a contact number.

What payment methods are accepted?

A
Major credit and debit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

What if I don't have a smartphone?

A
You can pay from any computer at www.fieldpad.app, or call 123-456-7890 and leave a voicemail. Voicemail sessions are created within 30 to 60 minutes.

Do I need to display anything in my vehicle?

A
No. Payment is tied to your licence plate. There is nothing to print or place on your dash.

How does parking enforcement know I've paid?

A
When you pay, your licence plate and paid time appear automatically on the enforcement officer's device. You do not need to display a receipt.

What do the symbols on the parking sign mean?

A
A $ in a circle means paid parking is in effect for those hours.
A crossed-out $ means parking is free.
A crossed-out P means no parking is permitted — vehicles parked during those hours may be ticketed or towed.

Do I need to pay outside the posted hours?

A
No. Payment is only required during the hours marked paid on the sign. Free periods and no-parking periods are shown on the same schedule.

Can I extend my parking session?

A
Yes, up to the posted time limit. Return to www.fieldpad.app, enter the same lot code and plate, and purchase additional time before your current session expires.

What if I need to stay longer than the posted time limit?

A
Move your vehicle to another block or parking area and start a new session with that location's lot code. For longer stays, consider a parking lot or parkade.

Can I transfer unused time to another parking spot?

A
No. Unused time is not transferable between locations.

I paid but entered the wrong plate or lot code. What do I do?

A
Register the correct plate and lot code right away, then contact us at 123-456-7890 or info@fieldpad.app with both confirmations and we will review the duplicate charge.

What happens if I don't pay?

A
Vehicles without an active session during paid hours may receive a ticket under authority of Municipal By-law Enforcement. Vehicles in no-parking zones, fire routes, or accessible spaces without a permit may be ticketed or towed at the owner's expense.

What if I get a parking ticket?

A
If you believe a ticket was issued in error, follow the review instructions printed on the back of the ticket or contact us at 123-456-7890. Disputes follow the municipal review process.

Is my payment information secure?

A
Yes. Payments are processed through a PCI-compliant payment provider. Card details are never stored on parking servers.
